From Blueprints to Pixels: My Journey from Architecture to UX Design

After five years of studying architecture (yes, five whole years of analyzing every line, angle, and corner of buildings 🏛️✏️—I could probably sketch a house in my sleep 😴), and over three years designing real-world spaces 🛠️, I started to notice something a bit more exciting than just bricks and mortar: Technology.

I mean, here in India 🇮🇳, it was taking over faster than I could design a floor plan—smartphones were everywhere 📱, and even people with limited literacy could navigate apps like pros 🙌. It wasn’t just about screens anymore—it was about impact 💥. Technology was making life simpler, more accessible, and occasionally joyful (who knew an app could bring so much happiness? 😅).

Watching this technological tsunami hit, I thought, “Hey, I want in on that action!” 🤔 So, my passion for designing physical spaces shifted to creating digital ones 🖥️. I had to do it—no more hiding behind blueprints. I was ready to dive into the world of UX design 🌊.

To make it official, I completed the Google UX Design Professional Certification 📜 (because why not get a certificate to prove I’m not just drawing lines on napkins?) and took part in a Two-week UX Kickstarter program by Growth School 🚀. During that time, I soaked up all the knowledge I could—UX principles, user-centered design 🎯, and, of course, those “unbreakable” UX laws 📏 (almost as strict as building codes… almost 🤪).

Fast forward to now: I’m here blending my architectural eye 👀 with my newfound UX skills to design digital experiences that not only look good but actually make life easier and more enjoyable 🌟. Whether it's tweaking user flows to make them smoother than a freshly paved road 🛣️ or fixing pain points like a digital band-aid 🩹, I’m passionate about being a creative problem solver 🧩 and making a real impact for both users and businesses 📈.

So, whether it’s a building or a button 🔲, I believe great design should always be about people—uplifting, empowering, and, of course, bringing a little joy to their day 😄. That’s the kind of impact I want to create: one user-friendly experience at a time 🎨.
